Serious astrology is one of the most sophisticated tools available to help you understand yourself, investigate your innate potentials, discover the most natural way to express your inner potential, also to explore the drives and tensions that surround you.
Your Birth Chart is drawn up from your birth information, and basically is a simplified map of the heavens at the time and place of your birth. The planetary positions show your potentials and weaknesses, your areas of ease and the areas of your life that bring inner tensions. By understanding your inner nature more fully, you are more able to utilise your energies and potentials wisely.

At the moment of birth, you begin your journey through life with all the potentials displayed in your birth chart. It is your choice, minute by minute, to utilise the planetary energies positively or negatively. Every facet of your chart has the potential to manifest at all levels – through internal processes, through interaction with others or through external events.
Some energies work better at some levels than others and each has a positive role to play, yet we often make them play a negative or difficult one that is contrary to their nature – a bit like trying to drive a nail with a screwdriver! Everyone has parts of their life where they are trying to use a screwdriver and we all know people who manage to operate their whole lives at this level.
Transits

You are asked to look at different aspects of your life at different ages, various energies coming into focus that make us feel uncomfortable and therefore prompt us to take action. Transits are your opportunities to review your progress and make adjustments, or sometimes completely abandon a direction that has not worked for you.
Approached in this cyclical manner, transits allow you to better understand the challenges with which you are faced at any given time. It is important to understand that the planets do not cause events to occur; they are the influences that surround you and provide the challenges that lead to your self-development … or not, according to whether you choose to engage with the planetary energies or resist them.
A natal chart reading involves several hours of preparation and will provide you with a printed copy of your birth chart, some written explanatory notes and notes on salient points, plus a cd with an hour’s recording of helpful explanations and advice. Information needed for a natal chart: date, time and place of birth. Please be as accurate as possible, as a small error can make significant difference.
Information on transits will assume that you have a working knowledge of your birth chart, and so will focus more on the influences around you at the present moment. You will receive some written explanatory notes and a cd with a recording of helpful explanations and advice. Additional information required for transits: your current place of residence.
